Family, and such.

I'm really missing my younger siblings, and my adorable little cousins. I've realized this, I love kids. I just absolutely love big families, because I can't imagine there not being a lot of kids, because I'm use to there being kids everywhere, and I really wouldn't want it any other way.
I talked about this with Austin, marriage and families stuff like that, and I'm of the same mind set as him I think. I believe that when you find that person who is the one, then don't wait, go for it! Get married becuase life is short, and who knows when that time is up?
I have my whole life ahead of me, and I know that it was the right decision for me to take this opportunity to go to Alaska. Because now I'm eager to do new things, and I'm all for doing anything that the Lord wills. Actually, watch as I'm called to serve my mission in the states can in like Nebraska. Ouch... Not saying I've got something against Nebraskins, it's just... Nebraska makes West Kansas look like Disney Land. That's all I'm saying...
Okay, but seriously, I miss my family! I really miss everyone, and I miss my adorable little cousins and siblings.
So.. I got new cousins! That's seriously what it feels like, being here, it's like being surrounded by cousins and stuff. It's just awesome. Like for example, yesterday I talked with Mr. Gooden about politics! I was listening to Glenn Beck while cleaning and we started talking about Senator Ted Cruz (From Texas) and about Hilary Clinton and just the Presidental election, and it was an interesting conversation! I just love talking about politics. And I talked with Mrs. Gooden about religion, and what a non-orthodox cultural Mormon is. That was a really interesting conversation! It's just nice. It's not like home, but there are things from home here that help me. I'm going to be happy to go home, but I'm going to be sad to leave them!

FOOD

I've discovered something... I like traveling. By plane, because that's my favorite part! So, I honestly just kinda wanna travel everywhere... Waiting to receive word that an eccentric long forgotten long lost great aunt has left me all her vast wealth which I will then spend to travel... Maybe... Haha
So, the food I have here is pretty much a mix of Korean food, Bush food, and normal food. So it's pretty interesting. I've actually shamed the family name... Prepare yourself for this... I had a vegan burger and tofu sauce for my pasta. Yes, I had tofu and vegan food. It was all really good though! I've tried more foods this past week than I have my entire life! I had tofu, vegan burgers, fish burger, moose and beans, kale, and I had chicken noodle soup, except it was not normal for me cause I saw these chickens plucked and gutted. It was an interesting experience!
So it's just been an interesting time, cause every evening I'm having something I've never had before. I'm also getting use to this look I get whenever I say I've never had something, also the words,
"Never?" "Ever?" "Really?" and it's just like, yes really. Never had moose. never had tofu, NO I HAVE NEVER HAD NUTELLA. I haven't had a lot of things... But by the time I come home, I would have tried a lot of things, and strengthened my skill on literally the best board game EVER. Ticket to Ride, just the best game.

Noise

It's really pretty, but I think a huge thing that hit me, especially at night, is just how quiet it is. How empty... I admit, I kinda just miss the sounds of Olathe, of just plain noise. So, I'm getting use to sleeping in just kinda silence. It's weird, but I'm getting use to it!

My official room

So I've finally moved into my official room! No more living out of my suitcase! Yay!!
So I've just spent the day just getting settle into the room and decorating. In planning to kinda just cover the wall with quotes scriptures and random things! So it's pretty different from my beautiful Americana decorations at home!
But seriously, I'm fairly proud at myself, especially considering the materials I have! So that's what was done today, besides of course doing church and some scripture study!
I'll put up pictures of the school tomorrow, it's kinda big, but I don't know how to describe it! Just have to wait till later!
Bye~!

Various Things

So apparently there is a lake monster! There are multiple stories on it, but it's not stories of it attacking people or boats, just about people seeing it. Lots of people have come to see if there is one, and it hasn't been 100% proven, but it hasn't been disproved!
The lake is beautiful, just absolutely gorgeous! It's just so large, that all you can see in the distance is more lake and mountains! I'll post a picture tomorrow!
Unfortunately the internet has been a little tricky lately, so I'm just going to try to post this while I can!
I also have some more stuff I need to flesh out a bit before I share, such as an essay I've been improving on, something significant that happened last Sunday, and my absolute favorite thing so far!
This was from a few days ago, at 9:59 AM! The sun usually starts to rise around 10ish, and is high by noon. Unless its cloudy like it has been!
Also, my new favorite radio station sponsored by one of my heroes Glenn Beck, 109,9 The Frog, was amazing with this weeks Moron Trivia! Please, let SOMEONE understand this...
BYE~!

Leaving KCI and other random things...

First picture I took was on the airplane, right before leaving KCI. I LOVE FLYING. Absolutely love it. It was so much fun, and I'm looking forward to going home just so I can go on another plane! And I do miss my family of course...
So everything involving planes was fun, the bush plane even was really cool. It was really rough, but I fell asleep for most of it!
I am really liking it here, it's pretty muddy right now, but it's absolutely beautiful! Plus, it's not as cold as Kansas right now! So that's nice...
My ears are still bothering me, mostly my left... The ear popping wasn't so bad on the plane to Seattle, but to Alaska, it was awful... Ever since then, my left ear just keeps popping... It's getting better every day, but it's just annoying at this point.
Okay... I was listening to a Glenn Beck podcast last night, and... I know what I want for my birthday this year. Besides a car and a dog that is... I want the sequel book to Agenda 21. I can't remember what it's called, but now I really want it... I've been waiting FOREVER for the sequel.. Just a little hint Mom and Dad.
So, listening to my podcast puts me to sleep every night. Although, I fear I'm getting bored of the music I have on my MP3 already. Ahh, I miss Pandora.
Besides the whole getting bored of my music situation, everything's pretty good. It kinda feel like home, except I don't get internet everywhere. And I have my own room. And a million other things. BESIDES that though, yeah, completely like home.
So that's it, Not very exciting, I'll put up some pictures of the lake later, because that's something worth dying to see. Maybe... Bye~!
